Role overview
As a Sales Consultant at Hackett, you will be the face of the brand, creating memorable experiences for every customer and helping to drive store performance through exceptional service, product knowledge, and a strong commercial mindset.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding, personalised customer service at every stage of the customer journey.
- Build genuine relationships with customers and understand their needs to recommend the right products and complete sales confidently.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive selling, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge across collections, fits, fabrics, and brand stories.
- Support visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store is always presented to a high standard.
- Manage stock replenishment, product organisation, and store cleanliness in line with brand guidelines.
- Process transactions accurately and support day-to-day store operations.
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to create a positive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.
- Contribute to customer retention through excellent aftercare and service excellence.
Required qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or sales role.
- A strong track record of delivering excellent service and meeting commercial objectives.
- Confidence in engaging with customers and closing sales.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and peak trading periods, in line with store needs.
- Fluent communication skills in the local market language; additional languages are an advantage.
